so I got my i730 approved by the uscis last September, as what I heard from some experts my visa wont pass the nvc and will be sent directly from the uscis to the embassy is that possible?

from my experience, that’s true in a way. the nvc still gets it and has to create a case. but then they immediately forward it to the embassy. they don’t have to process it like they do other visas. September was some time ago. If you haven’t heard anything from them you can make an inquiry on their website or ask a congressional office to help?

my father’s lawyer told him that it takes from four to six months and my visa must be at the my embassy. tbh Im worried cause i emailed nvc many times and they replied with the same thing “our records do not show that we have received your petition “. Can I ask what would I do more or should I just wait for the six month to be over and see the result ?

Hi TMT, the way u said is so weird. If both of the agency doesn't know abt ur case who going to know. They are the only handling all of our case by them. My case was approved on Dec 11 2023 and i sent email to NVC after 3weeks later. Then they reply me that msg. Dear Sir/Madam: Thank you for your inquiry. The National Visa Center (NVC) has not yet received your petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Although the Form I-797 approval notice mentions a delay of up to 30 days for cases to be delivered to NVC from USCIS, current shipping times may be longer. If you have not received a communication from NVC about this case within 60 days from the I-797 approval notice, please contact us again. Once NVC receives this petition from USCIS and enters it into our system, all case parties will receive a notice that they can begin processing if a visa number is immediately available.

@pk7 what they said may be true as I know uscis customer service cannot gove u specific and legal information about any case i think this is what they meant and for nvc that it takes six weeks and there may be a month delay is all a lie . me myself have been waiting for five month i contacted nvc and they told ke that they didn’t receive my petition and will contact the uscis too see wheres the petition at
