raise the SR. it will not delay but actually process faster.

i am in same situation, sent back medicals in response to rfe, almost 70 days now, online status still shows fingerprints taken 6 month back, uscis called me as well in August before sending medical rfe and insisted to send medicals asap so that can approve by sep 30th. few days back i hv opened SR with the help of live agent, need to wait for 30 days, not sure if it will help or not.

not yet, its almost 7 days.

it looks to me now uscis will treat as normal processing time window, for my Field office its showing 18th apr 2020 cases they are processing, if you remember they changed one policy as well in sep, if submitting medicals between 12th aug 21 to 30th sep 21 , then medicals would be valid for 4 years.

@Bora , SR update via email i got that they got my medicals, but still on the case, can't tell how much time it would take. Then after days USCIS officer handling my case and told me thay they have received medicals only for my family but not mine, looks they misplaced while scanning, so she advised me to get duplicate from dr. in sealed envelope , and drop in local field office, which i did yesterday, waiting further.

it looks , i might be wrong, opening SR is good as it goes directly to officer handling case.

Do they (field office) accept in-person drop-off instead of mailing?

she suggested to drop in person, at my Field office, security person directed me to a window where i can handover my pkt to a person.

just now my status changed to New card being produced.

I had a call from tier officer, they didn't receive any RFE response from my side. probably lost from USPS.

Not yet. I'll do it next week or so. My lawyer said, due to the ongoing COVID-19 emergency, USCIS is extending its 60-day deadline extension policy

@S Sid this time u have to change the courier and require signature.

last time I did signature requires, but on the USPS trackers said, "waiver of signature was exercised at time of delivery".

@Sid, you have option that you can personally go and handover at local field office is, from where uscis officer called you, put your sealed medicals in another plk and pls mention as Medicals for Sid, mention your receipt number etc on that packet ,
