SERVICE CENTRE
Hi everyone, just wanted to know about how do I know at which service centre my case is currently being processed at? I applied i130 on march,2020 and my NOA1 says California service centre at the bottom, but how do I know that it is not transferred to any other service centre?
I have seen many people saying their case got transferred to other centres..Does uscis inform you when they transfer it somewhere else?

your case number includes at the beginning 3 letters that indicate witch service center is handling your case. here are the service centers:
– EAC – Vermont Service Center;
– VSC – Vermont Service Center;
– WAC – California Service Center;
– CSC – California Service Center;
– LIN – Nebraska Service Center;
– NSC – Nebraska Service Center;
– SRC – Texas Service Center;
– TSC – Texas Service Center;
– MSC – National Benefits Center;
– NBC – National Benefits Center;
– IOE – ELIS (e-Filing); and
– YSC – Potomac Service Center.

even if it says that when it’s transferred it will have the same number or updated. use case tracker or sign up for a uscis account and they will auto send you all notifications when something changes

all my receipts says MSC and one of my case is not there it’s in YSC so most times you remain with the same number you just have to keep track of your cases

They do not notify you. Ask Emma through USCIS website (type live agent) or call them (say technical difficulties and it gets you to a live agent)
