Senator summit an inquiry to uscis on i485
i485 outside normal processing time called uscis many times nothing change they onl send me a mail saying due to workload factors not related to my case since then nothing change so I contact the senators office and they summit an inquiry to hopefully I had some update from them soon !!just asking if it a good ideal!!Thanks to y’all your advice will be appreciated 🙏

but finally after I sent them an inquiry and told them why is it taking this long and I told them so many things they replied to me and they apologized and forwarded my case to a supervisor to review it

sometimes the senator can’t do anything about it especially if they’re checking your background or reviewing your case and sometimes they do help for me till now they haven’t done anything yet

@noh when I spoke to tier 2 officer 2weeks ago I was told an officer as be assigned to my case and they do apologize

@adegbenga I did my interview in august up till now no update . my lawyer submit inquiry they have not gotten back to her . we are planning to use senetor by first week in January if they failed to respond to her. o am just tired. interview went well. record is clean on both end. I used senetor for my EAD and they immediately responded to us within 2 days. I hope they do this time

yes I contacted him for my EAD and within two days they approved it

Only God knows what is going with some of our files at the Uscis offices. Let me not say what is on my mind. But they shouldn't just assume all marriages are fraudulent. It is so unfair. I had my interview since Feb. No response yet. Raised a service request, it says still within processing times. It is so frustrating.😪

try and search for the senetor representing your area. and send them email or go there. that is the best way
