You sure it’s not the form 1040 for the 2020 tax year

@shan van Winkle I would send in 2018 2019 2020 and 2021 just in case you don’t see people getting another rfe for sending in more but you do see 2nd rfe because they didn’t send enough

the notice doenst say anything about form 1040 just says the petitioner sponsor submitted a joint federal tax return for the most recent year. since there is no supporting tax documents we are not able to determine if the federal income meets the the 125 percent of poverty guideline. the petitioner must submit supporting tax documents filed with the joint federal tax return

@shan van winkle. I read online you need to send tax return for the past 3 years and the most recent year. plus pay stubs of both joint and husband or a letter from their employers saying that they are getting paid.

How do I get previous w2 since he changed jobs since then

@shan you can contact his old work place and maybe the manager can guide him through it. most places you can log in to your account and see the w2s

oh man he has so many jobs during Covid it’s going to be so many w2 lol

@adiba anjum wow so you dint get an rfe? i submitted all 3 years and they sent me an rfe saying they just wanted the most recent

@ I was made for this. my brother in law didn’t get an rfe. he provided them with 2021 2020 2019 2018 tax return. pay stubs of most recent months and a letter from his employer

@shan van winkle, last year i had to send mine 18, 19, 20 so you have to send 19, 20,21

wiht having to submit so many should I uploaded it or send it in the mail.
