RFE response outside of normal time in Nebraska
Hi Everyone, my employment-based GC process has been pending forever in the Nebraska Service Center with no EAD or Adv Parole yet for about a year. I received RFE for medical in Aug and responded quickly but the 60 days since they updated my I-485 to RFE response was received has passed and no updates. It’s extremely frustrating. Anyone from Nebraska has seen an update after their RFE response within the 60 days? Or later/ how late? Thanks

you should send a service request 60 days after they received the RFE response .

I am counting mine down. if by day 60 I don’t have any updates I will send a service request. better than nothing.

It’s 60 days today so they still won’t allow me to send a request, I tried but it gives me a message that it’s still on time probably because it’s day 60. but I’ll try again tomorrow

I filed 2 SRs about a month apart. no response. so I called them. after holding for 1 hr was told they responded to my SR via email. asked them to send it again since I had not recd it. email was standard response, we're backlogged, blah blah, wait 90 days. hope u have better luck!

Was it a medical rfe or the medical remainder letter from USCIS?

Tried to create a SR today again (now it’s 61 days since the status update to response to RFE received) and it still won’t let me and just say that my application is still within the processing time! ughhhhhhhh

did you check the actual website? I have noticed that for my EAD the date on the website is different from uscis official app. so maybe that could be the case for you on your green card. it’s like 5 days difference. if not, I would try calling them.

I’m using their website from the beginning, just use this app for the community really. tried calling them yesterday but couldn’t get past the automated system
