RFE Bonafide Marriage
So I have a family member that submitted their I-485 along with I-130 in early June. The petitioner received a RFE last week to send evidence that it is a bonafide marriage. Has anyone gone through this? Any suggestions?

they dont have a lease. The husband bought the house long before the marriage

I have no clue, it is just very weird that they send that now. They don't have any kids. They husband is a lot older than the beneficiary

I was also thinking maybe age had something to do with it. How do you think they should go about proving this case seemingly that they need evidence based on their age difference?

my husband and I have 27 years gap. when we applied for AOS I don’t received RFE. we don’t have joint account yet because I applied AOS , 10 days after the wedding, however I sent lots of photos from the the day we meet, photos that our family gathered together and wedding photos. our flight ticket everytime we travel together. ticket and photos everytime we attend sport events like basketball games and basketball games.

They did not submit any photos. I have seperate case same category and I didn't submit any photos, no RFE. I will advise her to send photos of their timeline. Did you have the photos with a short note explaining the picture?

@kalecia, yes every photos have date on it, who’s in the photo, place where it’s taken and what is happening in the photos

CONSULT A LAWYER.nobody here is a lawyer and I think you don't want your case denied just for not consulting a lawyer.he will the most accurate and tell you exactly what you need

It's not mu case, I do understand that getting a lawyer is a good idea. My relative has a lawyer and her lawyer got paid to handle her case however in the middle of the filing process he simply stated that he no longer wished to represent them. He was a horrible lawyer from the start, he wasn't knowledgeable on anything. My relative and I had to do extensive research to tell the lawyer what to do and his way was not correct. Very unfortunate situation😣
