Remote attorney
Hi guys, I found an attorney (finally) that accepted to handle my case which is so complicated. She has decades of experience and responds fast to emails, etc. My case is in California and she lives in Chicago. What are the pros and cons of having a remote attorney?

the cons will be if the lawyer need to be present for ur case, the usually charged extra. also depend on the complexity of ur case, for example I have a NYC lawyer but then i moved and my case have to be moved to another states. that lawyer already bad and lazy to begin with, and in that other states, he had no teeth at the court he doesn’t know how to reach DHS in that city. something to think about

hi @jhoe jhoe don't worry about this letter. this is a standard letter they send to all cases that didn't work out. They will not do anything to you. What can happen is maybe a court date for you to show up but still they are so backed up that it might be in two years. so keep working on your paperwork so if the court letter comes you are ready
