receipt notice/ welcome letter
I filed for a i130. I got a receipt on 10/29/2021 and got a welcome letter 11/5/2021
on my receipt it says Texas center. which I originally had to send to a texas lockbox. but in the welcome letter at the bottom of the page says California center. trying to decide which service center my i130 is being processed at...i never recieved a letter of transfer. wondering if someone has answers or has been through the same thanks

im looking at processing times and it is sometime 2023 crazy long

Yes, California processing time is very long compared to the others, but who knows, maybe it will go fast for your case. My sister filed hers in 2017, they just approved it and have given her an interview date. I asked her and she told me it’s because of the center that was processing her case, which was California. mine was noted as California service center, but was told case moved to nabraska. cannot get any news on this from USCIS at all.
