Someone is working on your case. The decision can be in a week, weeks or months. Mine was like that for 6 months until it was approved

I did my interview in December 2020 and when I open a outside of normal processing times it says it is pending background check. ombudsman contacted them on my behalf over 2 months ago and on Jan 7th they finally replied that my case is under active review, but nothing yet.

the background check is done by the FBI, USCIS claims that it's FBI's fault and they are waiting on it, but I think they also use it as an accuse in some cases. I few like they push new cases resolution more than old case resolutios because it reduces the average time and looks good on reports. that is the same they are doing with the EADs

we are not doing anything about it there must be somebody we can reach out to and let them see what uscis is doing we are the one from 2019-2020 feeling it BT nobody want to make a move

my case is from 2017, i think I have no option but to sue them. I didn't want to spend this money
