did your i485 get transferred?

I have a PD of Feb 2020, I140 approved Sept 2020 - nothing since then. I am at 25 months now.

I-140 and I-485 approvals are almost always approved separately. did you file concurrently? your I-140 approval will come first, and after that usually another year or so (hopefully less in your case) until the I-485 approval

I am also in same boat just couple days difference in filling .. similar timeline for both I-140 and I-485

I’m April 2018, Eb2 Texas. I-140 approved Aug 2020. I-485 medicals RFE sent Nov 2021, still waiting

@ann t - I140 was always at Texas, I485 was transferred from NBC to Texas

Texas service center is constipated, all you can do is wait like everyone else. There are people waiting for yrs.

we lodged concurrently in Nebraska on EB1C October 2020. BIO was completed May 2021.. I140 got approved Jan 2022 pending I485 now.

Anyone tried reaching out to their congressman?

Not sure what is the process to take it to the congressman? would it help?

Check who your congressman is and send them an email, they will send a request to USCIS https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative

Texas for I140 EB1C currently shows November 22, 2017 as receipt date for inquiry (outside normal processing times). So a congressman request may just come back with the same response that their cases are backlogged and this is within normal processing times. Most expedite requests are denied unless they qualify under 3 specific categories (google it to find more info)

@reyna l, do we have to send signed copy of form to congressman by mail post or email reply ? I put a request today and they have sent the mail to fill the form for privacy release...

my EB1C is also with Texas, PD 5/27/21. concurrent filing, biometric done in September 2021, still waiting for any approval

I am also EB1C - filed in Feb 2020, I140 approved Sept 2020 - no change since finger prints applied in March 2020. No idea what is going on. I765 expired.

seems premium processing for EB1C 140 is going to come … shortly USCIS might send the guidance for the same

my EB1C filed to TSC, PD 4/1/21 concurrent filing, bio June 21 and waiting….

hi @S S: no update from my side. I interfiled medicals on 3/31 and I’m now waiting for Tier 2 to call me to find out if they were properly attached. After that I’ll raise a case with ombudsman and also I’ll talk to the congressman. but nothing before confirming my medicals are attached. My case is still at SRC

not from my side....same "silence" as usual...now 380days EB1C concurrent...and someone is thinking that EB1 category should be one of the priority.... :)

No news, EB1 - 787 days now and I140 approved 500 days ago....no new action. Medicals interfiled Feb 2022, no idea what's happened since.

hmm...for me EB1 as well, even i140 not yet approved, PD Dec 2020 :(

Not tried FOIA, tried congressman but they will not help until I am outside of processing for the local office I would be designated too - which is Houston and PD is October 2019!

ah, I remember you mentioned Houston is so much behind... October 2019 is really bad, I think Washington is the only Field Office that is even more backed up. Do you know which Field Office was your case transferred to? is it Houston or some other one?

congratulations Amit! I485 would follow the processing times at the service center after the 140 is approved.. TSC is looking at Sep 2020 cases now so hopefully in the next couple of months in your case. are you done with medicals?

what does it mean if your cases is transferred to office having jurisdiction? and how do you determine where that office is at before your case?
