Placed in line for Interview scheduling N-400
How long does it take from being placed in line for interview scheduling to actual interview for N-400. Field office is New Orleans.

@Godswill about 3 months. I think that’s the standard time for background check.

@Anthony A, I’m guessing your i751 application is complete if you’ve filed for N-400, how long did the i751 process take you? and did you get an interview or not? Ive been waiting in line to be scheduled in New Orleans for i751 and it’s been a year now, this is really frustrating

@MJ I have a pending I-751 at Texas Center. I went ahead and filed N-400 because I have been a legal permanent resident for 3 years. I-751 takes forever and it’s advisable to just file for naturalization if you can.
