Part-Time/Full-Time
For those who have already gone through the interview process, were you working full-time? I have an interview scheduled and I've been working with the sponsor for 2 years and 6 months, but currently only 3 days a week. BDV said I need to return full time immediately. Could working part time be a problem in the interview?

short answer no, long answer: depends on the risk you are willing to take. Interviewing Officer might ask you, “why aren’t you working full time?”. You answer can be, “I worked from so and so date full time, right now I am working part time due to personal reasons, also USCIS guidelines clearly states we don’t have to work full time I receive my green card, I will go back to working full time after my gc is approved as I don’t want any complications during my naturalization process.” Else, you can switch full time now, have at least 2-3 paystub showing full time hours, take it with you. Remember, don’t disclose any information that’s not needed. Some interviews end with only validating your information on i485 along with yes, no questions. No risk tolerance: collect 2-3 paychecks showing full time hours. You have some risk tolerance: Keep working part time. No need to disclose anything unless specifically asked.
