Contact your congressman and see if they can help you. 9 months after interview is grounds for a lawsuit, I would sue 6 months after interview. i am almost suing and I haven’t even had an interview yet lol

@matheus santos - I’ve tried contacting local Congressman no one returns my calls. I’ve heard of a writ of mandamus but supposedly that costs Alot of money and we’ve invested enough into this whole process. How does one sue USCIS? And yea I’m aggravated because the immigration officer said to me “ I’m approving your I-130 petition, but my supervisor has to look over your husband’s file to approve.

Writ of Mandamus is the only lawsuit for USCIS. have you tried going into the congressman’s office in your city? I called the office today and they asked me to sign a privacy notice and they will help me with my case

My congressman offices say appointment only but yes good idea there’s one right by my job I’ll stop by for sure- thank you! I also sent email to Dept of Homeland Security that assists with these cases too. Hopefully something good happens to move things along - good luck to you too !

same here we had interview on feb 2 , I-130 was approved 50 days ago but no response on I-485 tried to contact them but they told case still normal processing time nyc

what service center approved your I-130? When is your priority date and did you file concurrently ?

My husband and I are on the same boat with you guys. We had our FB interview on Sept 2022. No update on our online account. I pray we all get goodnews soon.

my PD: 10/2020. interview was in January and still waiting. My app never updated after biometrics.

I had my interview in Long Island 8/11/2021 and my app sill didn’t update to nothing. the officer said to me the same exact thing said to you. I’m filling mandamus this week inshallah.

@K C yes, it was the Charlotte FO. It’s a joke how slow they are working on this FO. I already tried expediting my case twice. No luck so far

How long have you all been married? You know, I've been seeing a lot 2021 filers on hold until they hit the 2 years wedding anniversary, so USCIS can grant them the 10 years green card. I think USCIS is doing that in order to reduce the backlog. My priority date is August 02, 2021. I filled concurrently. Interview: March 08, 2022. It went well. I-130 was approved the same day of interview. I-765 and I -131 was approved in July ,2022, after that no updates whatsoever on i-485. My 2 years wedding anniversary will be on March 02,2023. I try to waited out and hoping they're holding my case till that date in order to get the 10 years GC

@waiting more yes our two year anniversary is coming up soon it’s December 11, 2022. my husband was thinking same thing too that they’re probably just waiting until it’s past two year mark to prevent more back log. I just wish they’d update the statuses is all because it’s confusing, esp since our interview was February this year

g c , my interview was in Atlanta feb 7th 2022 and still no answer , my wife's -130 was approved AUG 2022. our interview went fine and we submitted all plus more wht was asked for and NO ANSWER

My i130 was approved about 15 days ago, and a RFE regarding my medicals was sent at the same day my i130 was approved. I sent the RFE response on the same day and they received the next day. Now, all I am waiting for is for a decision from the Charlotte Field Office. I managed to get my i485 expedited and I contacted my congressman in Charlotte and they helped me speed up my case.

@matheus santos Congratulations ! I’m hoping for good news soon. USCIS escalated my complaints and case to a Supervisor finally 12/15/22. So we shall see what happens.
