Our MB case was denied because we never responded to RFE,after Interview and home visit,So we filled (i-290b May,2021) and we got this last week Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity On August 17, 2022, we reopened your Form I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR ADJUST STATUS, Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXX and are reconsidering our earlier decision. We sent you a notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by September 16, 2022, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. My question is what could happen next ?How long do we hope to hear from them?

filled 290b 26th May,2021 and they reopen August 17,2022,1 yr,4 months

my husband received an email about an rfe for i290b after 2 mths we didn’t receive the mail yet to know what it is that they want .

I have 1290b pending 1 year now too

update-got a dismissal to our 290b three weeks ago. now just determining next steps.

guys I reach out to congress woman and she get got respond that’s my 1290b is under review do guys know how long more waits or what next to expect

when i reached out to congressman she got the response as “it is with the national benefits center and will transferred to feild office for initial field review. at this time they cannot predict the wait time” as far as my reading goes- initial field review will be done in 45 days and a decision will be made in 180 days.. my case is pending for over 180 days and even initial field review is not done yet.. since 75 days every month i raise enquiry to get an update on the case and i get the same reply every time.. tried senator and congressman too.. same reply

how long now did you appeal your case

mine transfer to chief counsel office at federal plaza since 3 march 2022 they send me a letter then a month now they said it’s under review it fasturating waiting near 2 years

i applied in april 2022.. it’s been 6 months now

i spoke to different lawyers and all said i290b is frustrating

oh ok.. I apply since august 2021
