they might have waived your interview and decided to send you an approval notice instead. Happened to some people in the past. good luck

Did you ask them if you still need to go to the appointment on Monday or not?

they told me not to go on Monday but I find it strange that a week before my appointment they change it for me

@Aisthesis D perhaps they’re getting ready for your interview and tryin b to cut down unnecessary interviews? Not sure. It might be a good thing though if it’s waived.!

They only told me that they sent me another notice for a new interview... and they called me from an unknown number

@Aisthesis D that does sound a bit off. Did they provide you any critical information that only USCIS would know? Unknown number might be the field office not wanting people know their numbers and keep calling them. But still…. Perhaps try to call them back at the 1800 number or talk to Emma online? I wonder if this appointment would be showing on the appointment page on the website, maybe you can try?

USCIS would never call unknown that's what I think and they just told me my name and address but didn't provide the information

@Aisthesis D I did search and found someone asking the same question. Quite a few people commenting they got unknow call from them too. It is possible, if you want to take a look and of course make best judgment. I think interview is canceled.they will mailing you new interview date. i think within 1 month for new interview date. Or no more interview maybe our case is approved. good luck for you

I would definitely call uscis 800 number just to make sure. you never know. it’s easy to know your address and name.

if I called uscis and they told me that my appointment was scheduled for next Monday... that there was no change, maybe someone wants to hurt me so that I don't go to my appointment.
