We uploaded the documents back in FEB and never got DQ, we sent a public inquiry to NVC asking whats wrong

@beesz h Did they ever respond? I will send an inquiry later this week if we also hear nothing.

@beesz h I decided to message them sooner. So I sent an inquiry earlier today. I also contacted my congressperson’s office bc they helped us when we were dealing with USCIS and the I-130. My congressperson’s assistant told me that NVC is very backlogged right now and to wait 1 month. And if still no progress, to contact again for a second expedite. What a joke. It’s honestly the luck of the draw. I hope we both get lucky soon. They surely cannot be that backlogged bc I am seeing many others be instantly DQed. Something isn’t adding up. Ugh. 🙁

@beesz h I don’t understand it. We have paid them enough money. I am wondering what these employees do all day?

@Mariana ♡ Yesterday NVC updated their timeframe, they’re responding inquiries sent by July 8, hopefully I’ll get the email this week, I’ll let you know

@beesz h Yes! They just got back to me today as well. They need me to resubmit my joint sponsor’s tax document…it’s odd bc they requested the exact thing I already submitted (her tax return transcript). I personally submitted my 1099 and that was approved. Maybe they want her 1099 as well. I wish they’d be more specific… There were even spelling errors in their responses to me. My name was also written as a completely different name than Mariana…they wrote Miriam. Bizarre. Well, we will be resubmitting… 😅 I hope it doesn’t mean we’ll be waiting all over again…but it probably does. Lol.

@Darth Choker Yep 😅I guess August may be our month of success…I hope. They want a 1099 from my joint sponsor but she only had a 1040. I hope they do not reject the new submissions. My joint sponsor does not have a 1099. She only earned income from her employer, nothing else. I wonder how some people are getting DQed super quickly? I have even seen people post that they got DQed in 2 days?? I wish my husband and I had that kind of luck. 😅
