Yes that happens sometimes, call USCIS customer service and ask them to resend it.

I have had this happen to my I-140 approval notice, four times! However I do get the I-485 notices whenever they send them. You can do the e-request online to help out but my lawyer also receives the approval notice so I haven’t been too worried. For the I-485, I dunno how the situation would be. Both my I-140 and I-485 are based in NSC. I would also get on a call with USCIS and get a hold of their tier 2 officer, etc and ensure they have the correct address. Unfortunately they use address verification as part of the verification of who they are talking to so I have never been able to see what address they originally had which kept getting sent to incorrect place. They always told me the address I gave them is what they have on file but the notice kept getting undelivered. So let’s see…

Yeah. The funny or weird thing is my I-140 was approved in March 2021. When I log in to the USCIS account website, this is what it says: September 1, 2021 Case Was Approved September 1, 2021 The Post Office returned a notice we sent you for your Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker, because they could not deliver it. August 9, 2021 We approved your Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker. September 1, 2021 The Post Office returned a notice we sent you for your Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker, because they could not deliver it. August 9, 2021 We approved your Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker. September 1, 2021 The Post Office returned a notice we sent you for your Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker, because they could not deliver it. August 9, 2021 We approved your Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker. August 20, 2020 We received your Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker. So my notice history should state March 2021 it was approved. But when they update, they update even the older dates. So their system has glitches in how it tracks. I’m happy to see that at least it shows it approved and I’m glad I filed I-485 a month later and the notices for those are delivered

Hi p Q, Did you recieve any other updates to your i140 after that? My I140 status also changed to notice could not be delivered 7 months after approval and I cannot figure out what that is,

my lawyer received it so I didn’t have to worry. my lawyer said that since they did receive it it’s okay if I don’t receive my copy. they just sent me theirs later.

every time I would go through the system of online uscis address change or correction they would send a new notice to my new address but the notice kept getting sent to old address which was incorrect and online systems would indicate fifteen days later that notice was returned. but my lawyer would also receive one copy every time I requested it. my lawyer then just told me to not bother and that it didn’t matter if I didn’t get it since they did get it and they could send it to me

so I think I-140 approval doesn’t matter as much as green card notices. hopefully you received those notices at the correct address. those addresses will be the same as the ones where they send green card or other cards… they won’t send a copy of the green or ead card to your lawyer lol. I made the mistake of incorrect address on one area in my I-140. like instead of using 5238 I used 5328 and that second 5328 address was invalid so I couldn’t get it delivered and it would be returned. thankfully I was careful on my i485 app.

Hi, I have the same situation as you. I am still waiting for the notice. May I ask what the returned notice was for you? Did they mail you or email you?

no clue. I contacted USCIS twice through the online portal but they always replied saying they don't have any info. my attorneys have now asked me to ignore it since it should just be an incorrect update on the online case status since my I-140 is approved and I got my GC a month later.
