did you put in a case inquiry after not hearing from the 60th day? ive been waiting 6 months im so close to writing congressman but i would feel like they would need me to send proof which i dont have so im trying to wait it out

after 60 day, you can call the USICS.

so we have almost identical timelines. I made a service request after the 60 days and they told me to wait another 30 days to hear something however, I didn’t. today I contacted a live agent again and they made a note that my first SR was responded to and told me I will hear something by March 18th. So we’ll see.

My husband and I have kind of the same timeline. (parents of USC). PD 8/6, Biometrics in September and USCIS received RFE in October. my husband’s EAD just got approved and I am still waiting🤷‍♀️. 60 days after they‘ve received your evidence you can start an inquiry which they should respond to within 30 days. I have just put my second inquiry and still no response. (NBC)

I got my Ead couple of weeks back. I’ve not placed a SR, will be doing that next week.

i thought it takes 15-80 days for adjucation after they’ve received response to rfe…

@Alex i did i did 2 service request and i almost had to put in one with congressman but i dont have to no more my next notice i received on thursday

@Alex K, my lawyers said there is no point in contacting them at 60 days as most of the times the reply from them is not happening

@Alex once you response to it they have 60 days if you dont hear nothing after 60 days put in a service request with an agent and they should respond within 30 days if they dont respond within 30 days put in another one and the agent would say if you dont hear anything by for example april 1st then contact them again .when they gave me a date to contact them back i dint have to because i got a notification for my next notice

@Alex k do you have a uscis account check on there under the tab document for the i-485 and i got rfe for the same form and they uploaded it on there i was able to print it

@Alex contacting congressman would be the best solution if they take to long to respond i almost had to go that route the same day they sent me the form to fill out thats when i got my next notice from uscis

@Alex K, from my experience respond to RFE ASAp, I responded to my RFE in early November and I got my EAD in February 3rd week. all the best.

hey guys, so an update. today I received the status that my EAD is being produced. I don’t know if the follow up on the SR did anything. But I’m so happy finally I can get to working! 😊😊

finally saw what my RFE was about, apparently they lost the W2 from my joint sponsor. Since it’s just a 1 paper thing, does the that affect anything?

will the processing be slower or faster or no difference

I've seen people with rfe for a birth certificate that has been waiting for a long time after submitting it so I don't know if ''just one paper'' have any advantage or not.
