Maybe if you change your name is take a little longer, or your background is not clear yet, or if is 3 yrs based the officer might ask you more evidence of the marriage.... That's was the recent timeline reasons that's I've seen on groups. Try to contact your congressman, say that you need your citizenship because you want to vote. BTW is just my guessing, cases may vary.

@Josh bigosh Yes it’s a 3yrs based..he said I might recieve a letter in the mail asking for more evidence after 3 weeks or maybe a notice for oath ceremony..it’s been 2 months already and no letter in mail requesting anything so I think that’s out

Check your uscis account to see if have any updates. Sometimes the letter get lost. I suggest you call tomorrow to make sure everything is correct. And then write an email to your congressman and ask for help.

Are you gonna change your psalm name??? Nooo. Actually, it's depend of your field office. Oath for Change name sometimes has an exact date. (before pandemic was twice a month with mixed 5.000 people) nowadays, idk how they are handling the oath. My prediction is: oath for who change name is between 16th and 25th of the month. It's just my prediction not what gonna happen.

I did my interview July 1st and the IO said decision cannot be made at this time, up till now nothing 😒I'm still waiting

I received an email saying they're under going require background check and cannot determine when it will be completed.

@sam mete. I really don't know,for the 6years plus I live in the USA never had anythin that get to do with police or dept, so I really don't know.
