N-400
I applied for my N-400 back in late august, early September of 2020. I believe they received it September 10 2020. The only notice I received was some time in February regarding them using my biometrics on file but the letter was printed on regular printer paper which I thought was strange. A few months ago, around the same time when the biometrics paper was received, my online profile for USCIS said I would receive an answer by June. now when I log on, it says 10 months with an asterisk explaining that the time can vary and this is only an estimate for those who have been residents for 5 plus years. I have a marriage based green card and have been a resident since Nov 2017. My wife and I have been married this whole time and I even applied early during the 90 day period given before anniversary. The entire application was done online with the expectation that it would be faster. I have not received any other notices aside from the initial receipt and the biometrics printout. Anyone had a similar experience? I know Covid delayed everything.

it really depends on your field office. My dad applied in Aug 2020, biometric reuse sometime in Dec 2020 and interview in May 2021. His N400 is not based on marriage and the field office is Chicago, IL and has not received a decision yet. so, hopefully you will receive an interview notice soon. Do you already have 10 years green card? You do not have a pending I-751 ?

don't be discouraged. I applied in March 2020 and in May 2021 it said *13 months until decision. however, on June 10th I got a letter that my citizenship interview is scheduled for July 22nd. Seattle office

also, they started to use regular paper instead of the old one, which was thicker and looked more official
