Wow you got your green card approved already? How long after your VAWA approval you got your green card approved?

Wow. And did you attend i485 interview? And 13 months to have your i485 approved? And did your i485 says fingerprint applied again after i360 approval?

everything went so fast

no interview. yes took them 13 months to approve i485. it didnt change from the original date that fingerprint was updated for me. it change on Jan 13 that new card being produced but had the date of Jan 14. Then on Jan 17 it updated that case was approved on Jan 18. Not quite sure why they do their dates like that.

@godismylawyer I was thinking it was going on too long until i came on here and saw other person’s’ experiences.

@Chim did you submit medical along i360 and i485 or they requested for your medical?

@kenny I did my medical just a few days before my i360 was approved. so it was submitted after it was approved. my case didn’t leave Vermont.

@chin sue really didn’t leave Vermont? do you mind sharing your email please because my i360 approved and still at Vermont and I think they don’t approve green card in Vermont please

@kenny I used a lawyer. He didn’t get a case transfer notice. whenever I called USCIS they told me I had to write to Vermont.

@Chin Oh I see. I was thinking every case had to be transferred because immediately I got approved they applied Fingerprint again to my i485 which I submitted along with i360, so since then I was thinking I should get a transfer notice didn’t know they actually approve green card in Vermont I thought it’s only field office and I haven’t sent my medical in.

@kenny my medical was submitted to Vermont. I did fingerprints for both i765 and i485 on April 14 2021. that change for my i485 didn’t not update until Jan 13 2023 that “new card being produced “

@Chin so they actually didn’t request the medical, you only have it sent over when your i360 was approved right? I’m trying to see if my Lawyer would let me do that also now just sent her an email

@kenny I sent medical only once. and that’s when my i360 was approved. they didnt get a chance to request it from me.

@Chin okay thanks for the swift response. Now I can be rest assured even if my case in Vermont it can be approved from there I will see if my Lawyer can send in my medical

congrats 🎈🎉 @chin I just submitted my I-485 with Vermont last week. my vawa got approved already last year on September. my priority date on my vawa approval is December 2017. so I hope they take that on consideration so I can get my gc approved fast. I made an expedited request for the I-131 so I can travel incase the GC take long. wish me luck

yes but its one month later after received my I 360 receip notice I sent my I 485 .may be because I won wava in 7month don't you think?

@Kenny Kenny I got notification that card was mailed on 4/4 but I haven’t gotten tracking information since. how long does it take to get tracking information.

@Kay Walker Congratulations first and keep check your status on uscis.gov directly you should see the USPS tracking info then copy and track it or click on the usps link from there it will tell your where your card is. Happy Green 💚 Life

@Kenny Kenny I got it. they had it from Tuesday but tacking number never showed until it was delivered today.
