Hello everyone,
do you know what month and year USCIS is working on in Texas? I did my fingerprints since November 2020. I am so upset right now!

they are processing chunk of old cases because they need to bring down the far end of the timeline.. while processing a few recent cases to bring in the near end of the timeline..
Ed DFeb 2, 2022
that’s exactly what they are doing, approving new cases to get a good average on processing times, while little by little reducing the backlog from 2020.

processing newer cases do make sense for them to mask their reports and make it look good, but it is really disrespectful.

btw, the same thing happens to old cases in other categories. my i-485 is from 2017. I think I will need to spend the money and go for a mandamus
