Yes you can use money order

definitely can use money order. The only downside with using it is that you cannot tell when the money has been cashed.

Max amount of money order is $1000, so they will give you two orders ($1000 and $225). This will work perfectly, recently paid my I-485 fee, and it's been accepted.

@Dmitry kuznetsov Thanks please did you get your money order from the USPS office ? After paying it do we include it in the documents we are sending and just keep the other part for ourselves. I am just thinking if I’ll have to show proof of biometrics payment whenever I’m called fr biometrics

I got money order in Kroger. I think you can get it at any grocery store, just go to customer service.

I know Publix do money orders. Not sure if you're in the area that has a publix grocery store

Hi Joyce thanks for that input i guess the place i would have received the money order did not provide tracking.

you can tell when your money order is cashed by calling the financial institute you bought it through and follow the voice prompt where you type in the money order details and it tells you if it has been cashed or not. I used western union money order from kroger, had no issues

@Ekun exactly what I did. I used western union as well. @Gail There is a 800 number on it that you can call, they will ask for the amount of the money order and the transaction number that is on the receipt your tore from the money order. Every financial institutions give you the opportunity to track your money order.

it's better to used usps money order for an easy tracking.

Walmart has money orders, 7 eleven also, but of you can track the usps money order, I would go with that one, that’s perfect
