Missing biometrics
Hi, I'm the L1 visa holder and recently I've received confirmation of my biometrics appointment, but my concern is that my wife didn't get one. We have couple of friends who are more or less at the same stage of green card process and they all received biometrics appointment mails together at the same time. Is this something we should be worried about? It's hard to get any help/info directly from USCIS so I hope someone here could help us understand if this may be a problem.
thank you so much for any help

only the person who is receiving the green card will get a biometrics appointment

hey , thank you for your reply. I'm not sure if that's accurate as my friends received biometrics appt mails for both of them - L1 and L2 visa holders. That's why it's bothering me. I wish this could be on me only 🙂
thanks again!

Unless the USCIS already has her biometrics she also needs hers

You may take your whole family with ID and other documents to the ASC and generally they allow all family members to have biometrics taken based on letter to primary applicant. Everyone should get a biometrics appointment letter. If due to some delay that has not come, take your family along and they may allow your whole family to get biometrics. This has happen to couple of my friends. Still raise a query with EMMA line agent too.

thank you everyone for your help! we have mailed USCIS and asked what's going on. Of course their response was "it will come when it's supposed to come". We sent another mail with complaints and after few days we got biometrics appointment. probably coincidence but just to let u know
