I had a similar case: received RFE letter at home in the beginning of Dec, but no update in the system. I sent the reply within 6 days, (it was requesting only medical- as I had not submitted it with the application). they updated to approved at the beginning of january. At the system: no indication of an RFE issuance or reply. give some time for them to process.

mj G, I would recommend you to reach out to your congress representative for an update in your case. at least for them to confirm they received the RFE reply. you need to consider the RFE reply deadline otherwise it will go to denial automatically. kumara just sent it...so patience is what is necessary for the original.post writer.

@S D - Deadline was September 2022, submitted my medical records Aug 2022, And then i created a service request Oct 2022 and got a reply saying pending adjudication but no update on the status online, still says rfe for medical Created a service request again December and a live agent created a ticket also upto now got no response. This looks like i need to file a lawsuit because my i485 is pending since Dec 2020, and my PD is also 2020 so no reason at all why i got so much delay on my case.

again: contact your congress representative. google "contact congress representative immigration ". you need to find which one is where you live. uscis provide a solid reply to them and they let you know the answer.

i am not an expert. i just know people do get an answer with the congress representative. if you think the answer you have is satisfactory for you, ok.

Not always medical rfe received statuses are updated or acknowledgment are provided. You might see the update of next action taken on your application, such as case was approved or Case remains pending.

Its a normal process. Do not panic. Field offices are not always equipped to send out step by step status updates online.

If the case is under normal processing congress rep will not get involved. They only get involved if a case is in dire situations. If you cannot wait for an update please connect with USCIS rep via Emma chat or ph #.

Hi @KS could you please share more details about the Tier2 Service Reqiest? How does it work? I’m in the same situation as you, RFE for medical received in the end of November, submitted in December but the case status is still as transferred since October.

Hi Erika, You have to call USCIS number 1 (800) 375-5283 and say info pass on the options, Tier 1 officer from USCIS will come and you can explain your situation and tell them that you need a call back from a Tier 2 officer. They will give a service number and call back number from USCIS. Store that number .so that you won't miss the call. You will get a call within 1-7 days and it's up to the officer availability. You can explain your situation to Tier 2 officer

PD is Sep 2021, and Fingerprinted on March 3, 2022. EAD card received on August 6, 2022. Case transferred on Nov 16, 2022 and Medical RFE on Jan 6,2023. Finally got GC after 17 years
