Medical for minor
hi everyone we applied for adjustment of status for my 11 year old daughter her biometrics is scheduled I wanted to know if she will be required to a medical as well? also any idea if kids receive EADs faster than adults or is it the same timeframe?

yes she would have to do medical too.

Yes, she needs it! Normal time! Also, she will need the transcript of the vaccination record to school and the doctor will use that too.

we did medical for my 8 years old . i had no idea that Covid vaccine was mandatory at that time … so make sure your daughter is vaccinated.
also I brought his French vaccine records plus the school one. they will also do the bloodwork good luck in the process

thank you we just finished with her biometrics. They took her picture had her sign her name and took her fingerprint. Her case updated to actively being reviewed. I will get her scheduled for the vaccine soon.

our 12 year old was the first to receive the EAD and an RFE for Medical. we have 3 others who can and want to work who are still waiting. biometrics completed in august of 2021.

Our four year old got her EAD the same day as is and she had to do a medical and biometrics too. getting her blood taken was the most difficult thing 😩
