I went up. I'm the 46 of 100

look at how many people have got a decision in your group compared to people waiting... in my group, 532 people are waiting while 342 people got decision. Ranking of 46 of 100 means there are 45 people who applied before you (the group is of people who applied 2 weeks before you and 2 weeks after you). If the ranking is close to 50%, it is going as expected. If the rank is at close to 100% (towards the end), that means people are getting decisions ahead of you

@Buzz sorry, let me correct a minor thing. I think 46 out of 100 means there are 45 people currently ahead of him in the waiting line, not 45 who applied before him.

ahead means their priority date is before him (just upto 2 weeks) with same status and case type. there is no other criteria for ranking

@gabiel, if USCIS is processing in order, you should gradually see your ranking improve as the decision count increases. In my group, I see 12 more got decision yesterday where as my rank stayed the same. That means the approvals are from the people who applied after me. But, that's how USCIS is.. no logic. Just patiently wait for our time and keep comforting each other

ranking considers both the filing date and the status. With same filing date, later status gets higher ranking. With same status, earlier filing date gets higher ranking. of course they are all for the same case type and service center

if you look at your ranking, you'll see they put your case in a status. interview is a later status than biometrics for exmple

they are close enough for some people. for some, they are way off.. our fate is in USCIS hands . hope they surprise us with quick decision
