my I485 is from August 2020 (also texas service center) and still pending. I140 was approved back in March 2021. good luck

Around 8 months. also EB1, which I don’t know if it makes a difference. The i140 should be around that. 485 is what’s taking too long

mine is also EB1-3 with Texas Service center priority date 5/27/21. it’s concurrent filings, biometric done on September 2021. still waiting for next results.

We are EB1-1 and June 2020 filers and still waiting. 140 is long approved (December 2020) and REF for medical has been submitted in August 2021. Waiting since.

Thank you It seems no one knows what is going on with EB-1 and I-140 and the agency is just taking money and keeping applicants hanging with no clarity. This is insane.

agreed. it’s crazy. we luckily can extend our L1 visa for two more years but this is just crazy.

we file January 2021 and did biometric in Dec and am still waiting no any news lol

@Ujjwal: Texas service center has huge delays indeed. and you can’t do premium processing for your I-140, which means you’ll wait few more months for that. nobody can predict when you’ll get approvals but prepare for a loooong wait :(

@Ruy Fernandez: we need to stay in touch as our cases are similar: for me it was concurrent filing at Texas service center in August 2020 (EB1). my I-140 approved in October 2021, and now waiting on I-485. my medicals were not included in the original application so now I’m waiting for RFE for medicals. I checked the Case Tracker app and the pace is very slow, 30-40 cases per day for FY20, so it will be anything between 3 and 9 months. were your medicals inckuded in the initial application? if not, did you receive RFE?

@Ujjwal: thank you, and best of luck to you too! who knows, maybe things will change. I remember back in 2020 when I sent my application, people were congratulating me for ending up in Texas as it was the fastest back then. maybe it will change again

@Mihai: i sent medicals in the original petition so i never got any RFE. fingerprints were done December 2020. that has been the last update at all. its going to be out of processing time in 2 weeks. then hopefully they at least look at it. i don’t expect it before second half of the year

@Ruy Fernandez: my fingerprinting was done in December 2020 as well. I’ll be out of processing time next week so I’ll start raising SRs, hopefully it will help a bit. I also don’t expect it in the next 6 months but I do want to hope to get it in 2022...

my EAD extension will expire in May. i will request to expedite since i am the only source of income at home

@Ruy Fernandez: are you on L1 by any chance? I think they did a mass approval for EAD renewals today. I think you’ll get your EAD by then

They did something for sure. We are L1 and mine got approved (it says new card is being produced). But we are also waiting on AOS and are EB1-1

no, I am not on L1. my L1 expired Dec 2020 (7 yr limit). My employer could apply a new L1 since it has been a year. Question: this EAD approvals today were for all cases (family, work etc)?

@Sa Be when did you apply for 765? mine is a renewal and starts with SRC229000 (received on September 2022).

@Ruy: This was an EAD renewal from August 2021.

They didn’t however renew everyone. my husband applied the same day and his is still pending.

ok but having August applicants getting approved now must be a good sign. i still have like 80 days before mine expire (laywer says they will request expedite)…

@EB1: similar case to mine, just that your dates are a few months earlier. I’ll raise SR for outside processing time next week. Hope that with the huge transfers outside of Texas, the speed will increase

EB1C filed October 2020 concurrently Nebraska pending I140 and I485 BIO completed May 2021. no update since.

finally i see my 140 got approved in USCIS site, my PD was 15Jan 2021 in Nabraska, filed concurrently. hope other process takes quickly.

We finally got moved to NBC almost two weeks ago for final adjudication.

@sa be, is it for 485 ? when your 140 got approved. i just wanted to check how much i need to wait for knowing my 140 approved (last week) after 16 month

Yes, NBC cannot approve 140s so transfer will only happen after 140 approval. Our 140 got approved on 11/04/2020 - so around 1.5 years ago. We’ve been waiting for forever…

@Sa Be we are in the same boat. Mine also moved to NBC 17 days agor when they moved over 5000 cases. Now they will end up at the local offices for final adjudication I believe. do you have any info if they are treating our cases with higher priority due to the delays?

@Ruy: No, I don’t think there will be priority but they still need to work through all of the cases (but they will continue going in order). And no, they won’t end up local but the majority will be approved at NBC (otherwise they would already be at the FO). And it doesn’t make sense in most cases to interview people for EB GCs anyway, especially of those people are already here/came here due to an employment visa.
