@king, my advice for you get that hospital report which stated the situation of your wife on admission with some of the pictures of her in the hospital and go with all this evidence to the interview and u will be reconsidered to be rescheduled. I know with all those proof u may be conducted for the interview but make sure u print out all the pictures and present them, best of lucky

@peter is right King... just get the hospital report and go to the interview alone with that report. Explain and present it to the officer and he will tell you what to do.

If you call to reschedule, there’s a chance those clowns that answer the phone won’t get your request across to your field office and your case will be denied for no show. As was suggested above, get evidence from the hospital and attend the interview then get the officer to reschedule you or conduct the interview on you alone. just a little update! yesterday I called my attorney and he told me the only way was to reschedule my appointment and he did called the USCIS and they rescheduled my appointment. we had our little pumpkin yesterday 1month early as planned. This morning my field office called me and said I can bring the hospital documents and all my evidences with me to my interview tomorrow alone without my wife.
