interview coming soon!
hello everyone I have a question. is it normal that they only sent one of the forms (i485) to my local field office and the other one (i130) stayed at the NBC, does that mean anything? I was just wondering. also any advice you can give me in order to get prepared for my interview? TIA

1. You are fine, if your interview is good and approved then your I-130 will be approved as well.
2. Don’t trust USCIS website, it is not reliable and they are not up to date.
3. For the interview, study your filed I-485 form. The officer will make sure everything that is put there is up to date. Know your addresses and dates. The same with your work places if you worked. Only give the officer for the documents they will be asking for, nothing extra. Also for the questions, only answer the questions, don’t drag it with unnecessary explanations.
If you do that, you will be fine and it will be a very straightforward meeting. Don’t be nervous. Good luck 🤞
