[update] I-130 approval w/o interview
Hello community [update]: lawyer confirmed that I-130 approval means no interview. yay! At the same time, received RFE for medical exams. Hope everyone gets approval very soon! Happy Holidays! [previous]: I received our I-130 approval w/o interview, but I-485 still pending. I’m a little confused by the order, will we still receive an interview request? What does I-130 approval mean? Thank you so much!

my pd : April 6th no EAD or AP approved yet. got rfe for I-130. replied last month. still waiting for update.

@Claire, I’m exactly in the same case as you. I received the I-130 approval with a RFE for the I-485 to mail the Medical report. Previously to that, I received a deficiency letter from USCIS telling me that they will ask me to mail the medical if the interview is waived. sooooo it’s waived! congratulations to us!

@Fatu I did received a deficiency letter months ago but now after my I-130 approved I got an rfe as well hopefully it’s for my medical Bc that’s the only thing I didn’t submit

yeah it must be that. I received the letter since August. do you have the online account? The rfe letter is in the document tab. I’m waiting for the civil surgeon to sign my medical report next week to mail it to my field office.
