they "connected" it to his case magically. it was definitely gamble but it worked

i’m in the same class. my case was never transferred to local office. Wait for your medical rfe if you didn’t submit it as part of your initial submission. rfe should come around 1 year later than your biometrics.

In my case the file is with NBC and they are waiting for my RFE update from FO. I submitted my medicals to FO. Given there is a least chance for retrogression in your category, I would wait for the RFE if I am in your position.
