immigrant wanting education
hello, does anyone have any information on where or how I can start school again without needing a valid social security? I graduated high school in 2015. I want to continue my education in IT / computer science, or pharmacy tech. where can I start even if it’s a course? my husband whom I have 2 kids with and have been with over the past 6 years, is trying to fix my statues, so I’m patiently waiting on that. thanks

you can apply for school but you may have to pay out of state fees for your classes. It all depends on the state. what documents did your husband fil for you ?

my state is Nevada. & my lawyer only processed the 1-130 for me first. I have to do a waiver, immigration already has 1-765 but it’s expired. that’s something else I have to work on as well.

you can call a couple schools in your spare time and see what they have to say. I know you can attend with the i765 because that also provides you a social security number.

you can apply for in state if your state allows it regardless of status

you can shop online but it depend again on your status and what career choice you need,Strayer university IRCS is good try and see
