I485 Transferred from TSC to NBC
Hi All: I filled my I485 to NBC in Nov 2020 and my case was transferred to TSC in Feb 2021. EAD/AP approved in August 2021. Today got notified that my case was transferred to NBC. Is that concerning? Or does it mean I may be getting interview soon. My FO is Boston though so not sure why they transferred it to NBC. Thoughts appreciated. Thanks!

No mine is NIW so no I485j supplement was filled. I didn’t submit medicals along with I485. Do you think they will send medical RFE? I was guessing because they transferred my case to NBC I may get an interview..

@I W: When you see your case is ready to schedule for Interview means they transferred your file to Boston FO Boston FO will schedule an interview as they receive your file in order and availability of Visa

@ I w , I think that’s good news. previously that’s what used to happen … case going back to nbc before final approval. your case gives me hope. also what date was your case transferred to tsc in feb 21? mine was 1st week of March 2021.

It should be a good thing. TSC has been way slower than NBC.

@Palacios My I140 was approved in Oct 2020. EAD approval took around 9 months

As an update, my case was transferred to another office the next day. Emma says it was transferred back to TSC. Any insights on what this may mean?

@ Varinder , looks like OP got his approval in 2-3 months … it’s positive news you are transferred out of TSC. can you share your dates like when you filed, when it was transferred to TSC and when was i140 approved?
