Oh sorry! i was referring to asylum interview - you are correct , no interview for asylum based greencard since you filed it after 1 year of your asylum approval. I am assuming NBC will process your case and you will hear something soon- they are the fastest processing center for greencards- so i think it’s a good thing the case is with them

Asylees who apply for I-485 based on asylum are now required to attend an interview. This is a change that trump did before leaving🤦🏼‍♀️

USCIS has issued guidance regarding a change in their policies: USCIS is expanding the interview criteria for adjustment applications filed by asylees, refugees, and their derivative family. that’s what I received from my lawyer two month ago

mine was from Augast 2020 and my case was updated to “case is ready to be scheduled for an interview” and I’m still waiting
