I got arrested for simple assault last year November. Case charged to court and ended as deferred prosecution, no conviction. I am worried too. Please, what do you present to support GMC,(Good Moral Character)

So when a background is done by USCIS, any arrest you have ever had will come up in their system, the only time that your record expires after 7yrs is when employers are doing a background which the system is cut off at the 7yr period. If you have had a DUI, @sins sanchez, and you took a class, you can go to the location request for certificate for completion and attach to your rfe, and you get a good moral conduct from your local PD which USCIS goes for the last 3yrs, and if you haven't been arrested should be clear.

what if i got an a reckless driving dismissed?

@GG ... ya I have submitted all the court documents related to my case but my local pd had mentioned that I had a dui and lowered to reckless and dismissed without conviction do you think it will effect
