how do you get Emma to tell you where your case is being processed ?

@LaTravia Chime, when I called USCIS they told me lot of times when they transfer a case it may only mean that that they are having them check something that they are not checking and they may transfer it back once they are done. Also, I read on boundless that when they usually transfer cases to avoid processing delays ..especially when a case gets transferred from a center with shorter processing time to a center with longer processing time that that won’t cause any delays. I’ve also given up on Emma or calling USCIS..i think the people that work there are completely cut off from the people who are actually processing our cases..and they only tell you what you see through your account yourself….I don’t know..but I’m hoping that is the case..you don’t have to worry since Cali changed processing time like you said haha

my pd is Oct 7th, 2021; AR: Feb 20th, service center assigned Nebraska, accidently found out it is in Vermont, when asked agent through live chat when my case was transferred..he just read Vermont and listed my pd date Oct 7th, which doesn’t make sense. Why would they send me a receipt notice with nebraska service center and then transfer it the same day..

I’m expecting a receipt notice for my k3 by Friday ☺️. I’m just not sure if they will immediately look at my documents because I didn’t send passport photos since my husband mailed it to me and I didn’t want to hold up the k3 process so I am going to send the pictures as soon as I receive them 🤪. I’m constantly stressing about possibly not filling out something right or missing documentation. I can’t wait for this all to be over. It would be much easier if it were just me and my husbanf being separated..but we slso have a 17 month old baby girl..we’re mainly sad about the time he is missing out with her..

wow Alma NEXT Friday, your good, I'm expecting receipt notice by Tuesday, I guess I have nerve 😂. Alma , have him send you a pic of his passport pic, go online at Walgreens and have them size and print it out, in white background, it course me $1.64 do it online, or go in-store for like $4. if he doesn't have a phone make him snap a pic in white background and have them resize it... I promise , that photo center person was so helpful.

He's guessed will have our answer on the 15th of April., I say 4/13 and I believe Alma analysis of her paperwork was the 11th of April,I think 🤔. just to let you know her and I started another post and we would go back and forth and we just had to pass the time with trying to analyze when we thought we'd hear something back... your turn, just a funny analysis just try to guess ,predict just something to pass the time . just another thing to make you obsess 🤣🤣.

@alma HT I wouldn't be shocked if they approved the the i-130 without it . relatively speaking, they deny the application for the K3 and approve the i130, so they have would have nerve trying to be technical when they can't even get it together and give us an advantage and let us know when and where and if and what the heck is going on with our paperwork in a timely manner, it wasn't free, after all, were paying them to do this🤪🤪😜. I think , I'm cracking😂😂.

I hope so..I am planning to visit my hubby in maybe two months and I am really hoping we get approved by then because it will make our goodbye a lot easier knowing we will soon be together forever God willing..I think after the approval..there will still be another 6 months for the rest to be completed ..🤕

I received a text w/receipt # no receipt letter it just says it's in the mail... another person has the same thing her date was 3/11 .did you sign up for text messages? also did you express your paperwork?

Oh..I didn’t know you can sign up for text notifications. Yes, I sent mine overnight on 03/09/20222.

wait did you fill out the form G1145 it was one little printed form that you can send along with your application do you remember that one? you could always fill it out real quick sign it date it and upload it to your online portal

this paper just gives permission for you to receive your update via text message and it also give you a receipt number it tells me my paper was checked in on March 15th

or PD date 3/15 rumor has It 3 weeks to 30 days is the average when you hear something back our anniversary is April 16th bittersweet 🤞 that we get answers sooner

@LaTravia hello your date is like RIGHT THERE ! I honestly don't think I'd go thru the extra paperwork...BUT if I didn't hear something by next week I'd do it.. set a deadline date... BUt I think you will have your answer this week No later than 2 Weeks... hand in there

I honostly sent my k3 because I regret not sending it in the beginning. I fear that this i-130 could potentially take 2 years so sending this k3 made me feel at peace.

@alma, yes I regret not send ing it sooner yes I mailed it 3/15 it arrived and scanned in that day... the notice had on there the 17th but I didn't get the message until midnight last night believe me I've been checking

@La Travia if you are deciding to send in the k3 it's really simple, but you can't do this one online you need to print application and mail everything out , the only thing i found that was a tiny bit of a pain was the passport photos for the both of you, I'm sure you have everything else, I regret not knowing about this k3 and filing it sooner. I understand your dilemma. I really hope you have your answer this week isl. 🙏

it’s been 11 days since I submitted my k3 and I still didn’t receive a notice but it’s probably because i didn’t fill out that form to receive text notifications..I’m expecting an email receipt notice by Thursday.. 😕

wow, 1000% incorrect.... the funny thing you apply in Texas you are in Texas I'm in Texas I'm in Katy Texas but you mail it to the lock box if you mail it regular to Dallas if not Lewisville for express mail

it was pretty easy when I say apply I mean send the petition you mail it to Dallas or Louisville depending on the carrier service you use

I just asked Emma to tell me which service centery case was transferred to and for amy details as far as progress…she said case is currently at Vermont Center..and it is in line for officer to be assigned for a final review but they cannot tell me how long this will take..hmm

maybe it is just waiting on the final review..which sounds like a formality..

I got my k3 receipt letter..notice day is March 11th..so we’ll see..USCIS does a good job receiving our requests 😂

oh wow..I didn’t see that..but I was thinking today a lot about the cases that had March and June PD that are just now getting approved..😔..none of this makes sense…I hope we will get approved soon….and yes..you will get the letter soon but you have the receipt number so that’s what matters..

hello so I finally received my receipt not much to report.. BUT VT approvals is almost Nill to TX and CA . VERY slow,

I know!! What is going on?! 😔 I also learned that waiting in line to be assigned to an officer means nothing..it could sit like this for one day..one week..one month..or years..

also..I’m getting annoyed at people who give me information like for example my co-workers said one of my friend knows of two people who recently got approved after three months 🤪🤪..how?!?!!

right?! well , so many things I'd like to say right now but , anyone can read this , but I promise , I seen a case where he was telling us to be patient after he was approved in 72 or 76 days. I checked out of pure frustration from another site the last 50 i130s from all centers and the PD dates .. the verdict was that only 3 of 50 came from Vermont and TWO were AFTER our PD DATE and ALL stated they had nothing but LUCK on their side 😦😶

@ Alma HT wow always someone at work having an opinion. i will say that I believe that the majority of those who filed k 3 that I seen had the approval by 36 days latest" here and there" it would be like outside of that 36 days like 21/2 months or more also for Vermont majority like close to 76 to 80% had there approval by day 260. I guess it just something to look forward to I promise @ La Travia, @ Happy Wife. I hope we all can walk this journey together, may we be each others light🕯️... I don't mind being first🤪🤪😂🤗

I was one of those who didn’t believe..but if they posted proof then that is really beyond frustrating..I mean neither service center has their processing time listed below 5 months..it is from 5 to i don’t know 2 years? so how is it that they have cases that are out of processing time..and then others are getting approved within two months.. 😭😭

@Alma HT well, the dim light at the end of the tunnel is that I read on the USIC site that if you were transferred/shuffled it would be a. negative impact... after that , they state they process petitions in the order they receive🥴. it's alright they can keep it dragging but so long... I play to go see my husband At the end of May first week June isl. have you changed your prediction? I keep with my prediction but I won't be surprised if people who had AR on 19 /20 the have approval start coming on Monday and Tuesday. and i think you'll have your approval by the 8th. no later that the 11th April well 🤞 🙏🙏🙏.. you said that USCIS said it would be a negative impact if reshuffled? I received a response regarding an email I sent regarding missing date field ony i-130..tbey gave me a general answer saying that if i made an error i need to either fill out affidavit with the explanation and save under documents or withdraw my petition and re apply..now Im worried don’t know what to do 😰😰

i hope so.. I think I will hold my prediction ..or I will say I’m expecting a decision by May 7th 🤪..but yes..I also looked at last approvals..I did an average by leaving off the outliers so the shortest and longest time..and I came up with an average around 260 days ..but this for all service centers..generally..my husband and I would be happy if he gets to come by end of this year..we will be really disappointed if it takes longer than that..I’m also planning to visit him in May insl.

@alma HT think your K3 will be fine... I did the same averaging but with the K3 approvals, like you leaving out the outliers at it was 28 days after the noa-1 for the K3. I won't travel until I get this approval because I am to afraid if they need something, I don't have quick access to it... but regardless we're one day closer 🙂. not easier, but closer .isl 😊

so according to that..I will get approved in 10 days inshl.

do you think having a lawyer may speed up the process? i hears someone saying how they process first cases that ate submitted by lawyers 😭

@Alma yes , think you will have your decision by then and me sson after insh. as far as an attorney I believe we're so far into it that I don't think at this point it would make a difference. especially when you see a lot of people do it themselves and get faster results I think for everyone who says the attorneys are faster you can find people complaining how the attorneys ghost them at the end. I feel better knowing I did everything... also for the next step I found an excellent source I'll share with you when the time comes for you .

@Daajiyah Lamb..yea..that’s what I thought too..I read cases thst were super fast and didn’t have a lawyer or k3 ..so I guess at this point we just need to wait..hopefully you will get your approval soon..I am planning to visit regardless of approval..I’m thinking since it will be all electronic that I can get the needed docs even from Bosnia..hopefully they won’t need anything else

if I don’t get the approval by May then I will definitely need to visit to take my mind off of this waiting game..i think I will only check the status once per day hahaha..at least I will relax for thise three weeks

our anniversary is on the 11th of April so it would be crazy if we get approved on the same day..I’ve been feeling a little down lately so I wasn’t even checking the status that much..I’m tired od seeing “nothing” ..I read a post in visa journey someone saying the average approval for Vermont is 260 days..that’s another 2+ months..I was initially guessing my approval by the 4th but okay..if i don’t get approved by the 11th I am going to be shooting for the 260 days 😒. Your timeline is the same as mine..but your pd for k3 is 15th..so im gonna say you should get approval by the 15th of April ..hopefully we will all get approval soon

@ LaTravia , I looked at the processing times for CA and it was showing July 28th was the date they were working on , that's what I meant ... I think the hardest thing is seeing people JUST have there paperwork in and get approved, and it makes the wait longer , I've never been this long without seeing him we've only went 4 months, it's going on 7 months , they closed Morroco and just reopened in February. our plan is the same I would love to be there for the interview... oh I heard if you leave USA and they need something they consider you abandoned your application? I really want this to come through for us ALL , and May 27 was the day I plan to fly to Morroco insh. wow, I really miss him😔... yes , 🙏🙏 your time is about here!

@alma. how are you? so a lady who has very similar stats as us got k3 denied today... but she's in Texas. she filed k3 before me. I spoke w/USCIS , so you know I quoted from the website and she stated she never heard what I was telling her before. I couldn't do anything but laugh, the fact the want to take 0.00 responsibility for ANYTHING even something on the site is 🤣🤪.I haven't got any updates yet.

Hi Daajiyah..no movement on my case either..I’ve noticed some approved Vermont cases but not so much spouse cases..they were all relatives and had long processing time..a few spousal approvals but also long processing time..arounf one year 😩…I wonder who they approve the k3? it seems like they mainly reject..but I wonder what do you need to have in order to get approved for k3. Yea..I really think the people that answer our calls at USCIS do not know anything other than what we see in the system and even worse as far as general information..i feel like we know more because we practically study their website and policies every day 🤦‍♀️

@LaTravia Chime..you are definitely getting close and should be receiving an answer soon..did you check to see if it is still in Cali? but yes, I’m getting worried when I see people that have pd date april and are still waiting 😭😭. I was listening to a former immigration officer who was saying how there is no way in trying to figure out how they process cases..that he had cases that got submitted at the same time and one case got finished in 8 months from beginning to end..and the other had no movement..and by looking at the cases you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference..he was basically saying how these processing times don’t mean anything..how some cases will take shorter some will take longer and all you can do us make sure your documentation is complete and accurate and be patient 😭😭

he says that when they say how they transfer cases because of workload..he said that is probably not true..they do probably look at race..where you come from...other factors that they don’t want to disclose..

I also read somewhere that they got an rfe because of passport photos being wrong..probably wrong format..i filed mine online..not sure what format the are looking for..

@alma wow, you gave me a mouth full. I totally noticed the cases that have been approved and lack thereof of the spouse as well. just wow, well I was told that they don't even look thru the k3 , and Nebraska doesn't process i130 petitions and they are just passed down, not true, she said she can't say why it was transferred she can't see the reason. I called today and the intro message stated they had a system error , that they were working on fixing, etc. wow, they want to use the race card ? I'm 3 take your pick! which race was it that cashed the service fee for this petition? I believe it about no way to know but , we both posted on another site , when you mentioned , the time the needed to wait was shortened to 88 days... I don't think you can say the site here but , this guy shared our frustration before just recently getting approved after 260 days. I'll let it play out for myself until after my anniversary you know be playing from there. honestly I'm still hopeful for the dates we predicted let's just get through this week and keep me posted:))

LaTrivia Chima, I was also curious about at what point they send out the RFE..I saw some cases and they typically receive the RFE later in the process or towards end of your due date..Im thinking whenever they start to truly review your case…

Nobody really knows anything..the guy in the video mentioned the race but also said that it is more his assumption..he does ‘t really know for a fact that race is something they look at..

@alma I just looked at the SR# for my requests and they both say TSC? I put one in on 3/25 and 4/4 does yours say EAC for VT or tsc? wow

I was told my a rep that they don't process k3 in VT and they just hold it until it's time for the i130 to process... 😳 just seen a few more people from TSC PD late October get approved... my understanding is our service request when they're come time to be answered Texas sees that they go to Vermont and then they're at that point transfer to Vermont. also on the "other site" someone said," never", which is a horrible thing to say , has a transfer caused someone's paperwork been delayed... I didn't get into it but how do you explain people who have the same day or after us been transferred from Nebraska to Texas later PD date they've already been approved some from the same country? isn't that what you would call delayed? why has Vermont been quiet and why have the others who have these dates after us transfer the same time been approved but yet nobody from Vermont? yeah so when he said never has there been a situation that a transfer has caused a delayed I beg to differ... 😔well another day another possibility of an approval 🙄

I read someone’s post saying that they transfer complicated cases to VT..which doesn’t make sense..but then when I do see VT approvals..they are mainly NOT i-130 cases..or at least not USC ..so it seems like they have more of the other type cases and less of the i-130..maybe those 1-130 are easy cases that just need to be approved but they have to wait their turn 🤪🤪🤪

and yes…I’ve also seen so many cases like ours that have been approved..I don’t know what is holding ours up

but you know…I can’t get over the fact that VT has the longest processing time and even though we’ve seen cases getting approved much sooner than that..it freaks me out when i see Up to 16 months processing time for VT 😭😭😭😭

what terrifies me is the fact that it can actually take another 10 months for the approval ..😭😭

my case is really straight forward, no issues aside from the typo/computer from THEM... crazy thing is one guy boasted that he didn't send in but one picture, that's it to prove the relationship and he got it in 76 days ... I read that transfer from Nebraska to VT is a straight 2-3 month delay...just theories but I don't believe the complicated case thing for VT ,but why does the USCIS system not recognize where are files are especially since we filed online, transferred to VT.

l read on the USCS website that if they transferred your case it wouldn't be to your detriment... 16 months 13 months opposed to 5 to 7 no determent?

yes, and when I advise the the Emma rep of that ,about not being put to the back of the line, she told me she never even read that and never seen that in writing, only would say they need to update their website and that they did not process the k-3s they never even look at them. really??? okay😤😫😫

I'm to a point I believe that you won't be put to the back of the line , like I believe they take all they take cases in the order that's received, all nonsense!

I honostly am wondering about the same thing..I have a FB group for Vermont and there is 0 activity for days. Maybe the admin checked out. It’s called i-130 ioe filers vermont service center
