@misty khan. it’s really not a bad thing at all. just make sure to provide all they asked. If you don’t have something just explain why. I did mines online at first but sent everything via mail this time with a little more evidence and a letter. I think they just want clarity. RFE is better than denial IMO.

misty RFE is good all u have to do is make sure to send in all the evidence that uscis request for and u will be fine so your case cam be approved goodluck

hi ....they send me RFE in this they said marraigr is not good faith look like ...and they need joint bank accounts and financial evidence....but how can I do that my husband in india I'm usa ....what can I do anyone know that please give me answer....

@misty khan. Not to worry. I got an Initial RFE and had to resend everything. What I did with the help of an Attorney’s advice was I sent copies of all Monies I sent for our wedding plans or anything we spent on together in person, including screen shots of money I sent to support my spouse in each stage of our relationship in his country over time. I used money gram and western union so there was a graph I sent as well to show consistency. I topped that section with a letter that states that my husband is overseas and we do not have a joint bank account because you need a social security number to open one here etc but here are my other proofs of joint finances etc etc.. so like if you ever did anything together, maybe stayed in a hotel, went on vacation etc use those receipts as well. I’m only married 7 months now and because on the pandemic lots of my flights were canceled so time together is no issue just present what you have in good faith with an explanation confidently. my RFE was very detailed and labeled with a table of context at the start so the officer could find each section easily with the financial proofs in order.

Oh Congrats once again! it’s straightforward! but just go over this once. The first thing I did( I am the petitioner) , i logged in and paid both Visa and I-864 fees. Once that’s paid and it’s reflected you can go ahead with the next steps. Yea it does but the only place you really need something to be saved is when you fill the Immigrant Visa application (DS-260) . other steps is you upload clear-color scanned PDF(less then 2MB) and when every document is there you will submit them. But pay the fees ASAP- takes 2-3 business days to be reflected, until that you can’t do any other steps!

Misty, not sure if it is NOI- it could to NOID, Notice of Intent to Deny . Not to scare you but with your past comment that they don’t believe the marriage is in good faith, NOID for I-130 petition is not a good sign. ...copied from the web for your reference....... NOIDs differ from Requests for Evidence (RFEs). USCIS issues an RFE when an application is missing particular pieces of evidence, such as joint bank statements or birth certificates. In contrast, USCIS issues a NOID when an applicant has provided sufficient initial evidence but, for some other reason, the USCIS officer does not believe that the case should be approved. For example, you and your spouse may have provided all sorts of good documents showing the legitimacy of your marriage but, at the interview, been unable to answer basic questions about each other.

Comeon! this app just checks if a notice was sent from USCIS - so it reflected that status! You need to check it from USCIS case status and based on what you said it should be only RFE https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

last week I seen online my account overther said just RFE evidence they need not good faith and sufficient initial ....u know I told u already.....but I see on this lawfully apps on RFE or Noi..that's wy I'm confused...still I didn't get mail

don’t worry about lawfully! this app meant to say - based on the status pulled from your USCIS- you should except a RFE or Notice. That’s all. Focus on how to collect all the evidence and submit asap.

Hi 🙋‍♀️ @misty Khan... 🙂 After observing and reading the content of your comments I believe I know what’s happening here. Please, first of all relax, take a deep breath and let’s focus on guiding to help you understand that they have just asked for initial evidence...this is a community to help each other share our experiences etc. Okay, now please don’t misinterpret this app, it’s generally speaking so you may have seen a notification saying RFE or NOID has been sent but does not mean it was denied unless you see that specifically on your Uscis account or letter in the mail...focus on Uscis and their webpage. That’s where the facts are. I want to believe that Uscis has asked you for initial evidence of your bonafide marriage and have listed some documents or proof for specific things and probably stated that what they have currently doesn’t establish a Bona fide marriage. This is your opportunity to resend everything and add more. ( I would suggest by mail). Follow each step by step, add a letter explaining what you have or why you don’t have (maybe you haven’t yet established a joint bank account) but just give them what you have, proof of everything you’ve done together financially etc maybe letters from family who know about your marriage can give bonafide marriage letters etc. Unless they said that they are intending to deny, don’t panic. Now if they said they are going to deny it will show on your account. This is simply an opportunity to provide them more evidence of your marriage. I would suggest you create new post and maybe ask for examples of each evidence they requested. that way someone who has done it before can help. Here’s my first suggestion 🙋‍♀️ Financial Evidences example without joint bank accounts - Make copies of all money sent to your spouse. Anything you bought together, places you’ve been together, evidence of expenses of your wedding 👰, flight itinerary to your spouse country or visa pages, etc just something.. Joint Bank accounts is just an example. You can’t provide what you don’t have and don’t assume USCIS knows your story. Simply explain and go down the list. (Watch YouTube videos on how to present if you’re doing this alone or pay for a consultation from a Uscis Attorney over phone to walk you through it. 1 hour is usually around $50 USD). Good luck. 🙏🏾 hope that helps some.
