I do have a question.I filed my renewal work authorization under C31 and I got and automatic extension for 540 days .My c09 expires in may ..Should I also file a renewal for that also ..

Has your VAWA been approved previously? I know you can renew under C31 if you VAWA approved C31 EAD expired. If that’s the case, you don’t need to file C09 EAD at all

C09 are usually valid for 5 years but C31 are just 2 years. if i were you I’d renew the C09.
