Same boat. my N-400 interview is Friday with a pending i751. i have not had any updates since fingeprint reuse notice in September of 2021. Talked to an agent on Emma but they said they could not request a combo interview. my i751 file is at NSC and my N400 is in omaha, so a short distance from each other. Also tried a service request via inbox of my uscis account and was told they referred my request to an agent and at that time did not have any further action. I just decided to go with it. Will see what happens Friday.

mine was cancelled couple days before the interview, i guess this was as a result of my pending I-751 and the N400 interview scheduled in two different locations. haven't heard back from Uscis on scheduling another interview. so keeping fingers crossed

@jamie olek how were you notified? and what do you mean the n400 interview was scheduled in two different locations? how long has it been since they canceled?

@jamie olek was your I-751 transferred after you applied for N-400? and when did you apply for I-751

my I-751 has been pending for almost 3years now, rfe was requested and there's not been an update on it since. i applied for my N-400 last year may and got scheduled for the interview, but the N-400 interview was scheduled in another location different from my state where the I-751 was, got updated about cancellation via letter. and i received the cancelation notification online when i used the case tracker. the interview was originally scheduled for 6th of December but got cancelled on the 3rd of December...

I had my case I-751 filed since may 2019 while still married , filed N-400 using 5yr GC rule with divorced . truth is he didn’t even bother much abt my pendiing I-751 he only I passed d citizenship test but can’t approve because I ve pending |-751 and issued RFE to send in latest tax documents n bills which I had with me but he said he doesn’t have time to review but would prefer I mail them. I said ok thank u and that was it.

@first last, my I-751 field office is Baltimore but N-400 interview was scheduled in DC office..

@Austa Filed my I-751 while married since 2019 as well and filed N-400 5 year rule in 2022, but got divorced before my I-751 is approved so i sent my divorce decree before the N-400 interview, but the interview got canceled 😞 still don't know why this happened

yes I had similar issue, my interview got cancelled @Jamie because they wanted to adjudicate both same time. so you will be rescheduled once there’s an open date for your N-400. My case was same. My suggestion would be add all the documents you have in additional section file on ur n-400 before attending d interview. My case he didn’t even both with d I-751 once u hv divorce papers and proof that u both had a thing together before d divorce.

thanks for this information i will upload more evidence on my unsolicited evidence section of N-400. this is very helpful i have been so down and very paranoid as to why interview was canceled.. i hope this journey will be over soon.

yeah man. My interview we were just chatting actually cos we shared similar interest. But it’s sad most of these Uscis workers chat and pass time without truly doing the core duty. my citizenship interview mostly was a joke.
