i-751 extension letter and traveling question
It’s me again! After filing ROC, I received a 18 month extension notice for my conditional GC. This extends my status until mid February 2023. I have an international trip coming up in mid April 2023 and am concerned. Please see my questions below:
1. I see that many applicants have received 24 month extension notices after 18 month notice, however I did not. Does 24 month extension rule applies to all i-751 filers? Or only the ones who actually received the 24 month notice?
2. If answer to above is NO - and my status does expire after 18 months in Feb 2023 - I learned that I should obtain I-551 stamp on my passport. When/how early should I start arranging the infopass appointment?
Thank you for your help! I am beyond frustrated with the process.

Call to book an appointment and request for stamp. they’d let you know if any date is available. And I got 18 months extension first before they sent me 24 months.
