mine I think it’s because I had a misdemeanor from 12yrs ago. i was told it shouldn’t have affected me but I guess it did, so I had to do the I-601 waiver outside the country. I understand how you feel on needing an answer

mine said same and the letter said processing

hey monica how are you. did you get updated status like me how long you waiting for that?

all we did was expedite case and I received a text that it was received and the receipt number. Then I got a letter in mail that they are processing it. we did this about a month ago. I heard it can take anywhere from 3 months to years for them to make a decision.
