not a big deal if you married US Citizen, because that’s not material “mistake” but you always should say the truth. I don’t understand people who lie about illegal work, when USCIS forgive it because of marriage with US Citizen. (in general, nothing personal to you)
survivor pJul 11, 2024
@hope hope sometimes circumstancial evidence. if you were in US for a few years before marriage, probably you did work without authorization, otherwise you are billionaire 🤷‍♂️

you complicate issues for yourself. They all know many people work under the carpet. That's not the issues. my sister and friends worked without papers but today they are USA citizens with the blue passport. you should concentrate on something else cos when you try to spill it out and get denied don't blame anyone. The lawyer did the right thing.

@Aka 44 i would recommend you just to correct that on the interview. There's probably million people working "off the books" just to survive. Be honest

@survivor p what do you mean by "circumstancial evidence"?

@Mrkvica M. today uscis approved my EAD card after 524 days waiting time. Hopefully my 485 gets approved soon. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

@Mrkvica M. circumstantial evidence - I explained above. I provided an example. evidence for illegal work is for example your transcript from IRS, if you pay taxes or bank account with deposits; circumstantial evidence is indirect evidence that does not, on its face, prove a fact in issue but gives rise to a logical inference that the fact exists, for example if someone live in US 5 years, you can infer from that fact that he/she had to work because nobady would be able to live here for 5 years without work (you have to pay bills, for food, etc.)
