My lawyer just informed me that they overlooked filing for my i131. I’m so confused and stressed . My 485 and 765 was filed in October. where do I start from now ? I was hoping to go see my ailing mother as soon as possible ☹️☹️☹️☹️

go to the USCIS website and get I-131 form and fill it up. they have step by step guide over there. and attached the copy of ur I-485 receipt letter so it’s gonna be free for u

ifey you can also apply for emergency advance parole to go see your mom. You’ll need to prove relationship to your mom, evidence of her illness.

@ Kay Bee.. thank you 🙏🏼 I heard that with emergency parole my application would be put on hold until I come back . Don’t know know if that’s true .

I’m not aware of that, I used Emergency AP last year and was never told that.

it’s valid for 30 days so you’ll have to see which outweighs the other if it’s true.

@Kay Bee - do they approve combo card in case of emergency AP if both 765 and 131 have been filed together? or just AP?
