is having AP or AED means I485 being delay? my friends got their Gc already like after 2-3 months and they didn’t get any of those 🤔

@ jay dc I have not had any approvals till now so don’t have much experience but my take on this is, if the pd is current then I guess they generally would tend to approve the GC so approval or delay of AP/EAD does not matter in that case. if the pd is not current then they may incline to approve the EAD/AP at the least. it’s just a guess, just speculation.

my lawyer said today that these online status updates doesn’t mean anything…we should not rely on these status updates to infer anything…..one should look at processing times of specific service centers…. btw I just checked the processing time of TSC for I-485 - 80% of cases took 50.5 months to adjudicate. really sorry 😞 state of affairs.

My I131 was approved today. No change in 485 status

@ Vishal K nope, for me concurrent filing was done on August 2022 in eb1a @ TSC. I-140 was approved on 01 Sep 2022. That’s it. no I-485 movement or EAD/AP approvals. It’s TSC so I was told by my friends, in August itself when I applied, to get mentally prepared for a long haul. :)

But with your online status change on I131, may be you will receive approval in a day or 2

I contacted Emma today to know about my recent I-131 online status change. Emma agent told that the officer in my case saw that the fingerprints were not applied to my I-131 earlier and so he just attached to the application. nothing more they said regarding if that has any relevance to the case moving to the next stage or not.

Emma agent also said that I-131 is strictly for background check.

I observed in hilites yesterday that for most of the I-485 applications received @ Texas service center in and around 15th August 2022, all the associated I-131 ‘s status have been changed to “Case was Updated to show fingerprints were taken” on 25th of January 2023. I don’t know what this pattern means but just wanted to share my observation so I posted.

Hi I would like to seek advices from you guys, I received my ead and travel permit in 2.5month, however my husband who went through the biometric appointment with me on the same day hasn't gotten the EAD and travel permit card. As for our application for i485, we applied under e2 based on company's sponsor. My husband was the one being sponsored by the company. I140 has been approved, we went for biometric appointment on dec 8 and I obtained my EAD with advanced parole on 21 Feb. I am very worried why hasn't he obtain his EAD card attached with travel permit? Can I check with u guys as well, initially my i485 was showing dec 8 obtained my fingerprint, then after my EAD and travel permit were approved, my application for i485 was routed back to March 1, fingerprint was being applied to case. Why is that so? Thanks. Please help
