if he just left but didn't abuse u I don't think u can file for vawa. as far as I know vawa is for person who have been abuse physical, emotional, verbal and so on and u most have proof of the abuses. try to consult with a good lawyer

If you haven’t been abused and can’t show a history of it, you will be commiting fraud if you try this. Id be very very careful, this will look very suspicious…your partner and you have a fight and he withdraws your application then suddenly you claim VAWA…you will be needing a truck load of evidence on this one I would say. They will wonder why you decided to file for it only once you guys had a fight.

no you cann file VAWA just because you have a flight and discussing divorce. .if your husband want the divorce ,you should leave the country and not commit fraud .
