thank you @TM. What’s the benefit of getting I-130 approved prior to the interview? I mean will it help the interview process go smoothly? Will it help the IO to make affirmative decision quickly?

after I130 approval you can easily get your Ead. but for the process, idk. because in my case, my i130 and I765 has been approved. but I’m still waiting for my interview to be scheduled and it has been 476 days for me to get i485 interview schedule.

@TR did you make any service request or talk to tier 2 officer to get your interview scheduled? Your case is way outside of the processing time!! What’s your FO?

i did service request twice but haven’t listened anything back. I’ll try to talk to tier 2 officer soon. if I didn’t get anything back from them by this month.

Also, keep bugging Emma to do live chat with agen! Do it religious twice or thrice a week until your interview gets scheduled! I have seen people doing it and getting their interview scheduled quickly even with newer PDs!

I do live chat quite often and am planning to talk to tier 2 officers soon. there is another option for you to expedite your case by requesting them in the grounds of financial lose or any other humanitarian grounds or any situation that supports your claim or request.

but I listened that they are not considering much expeditions request specially because of financial loss or humanitarian reasons. but I’ll try to request to expedite it pretty soon.
