I-129F Transferred Case from California SC to Vermont
Hello! October 2022 filer here. I’m posting this in behalf of my fiance. Any insight would be so much appreciated. Thank you.
We just received notice last weekend that our case was transferred to Vermont. As the petitioner, I have never had any criminal activity other than a couple speeding tickets (eight years ago). My job required background checks a few years ago and my landlord ran one on me a year ago, before I moved in. I just completed a background check on myself to make sure there weren't any false flags, but nothing came up there either.
Our NOA 1 was received Oct 18, 2022, so only about 3 months ago. Could this be a wave of transfers to load level between centers? Is it normal for cases to be "reviewed" and transferred so quickly?

Yes. California take 15 months for I-129F while Vermont takes 9 months.

How did you get notice that your case was transferred?

@Abdur Rahman Hi. We received it via mail and our status online now has changed to “Case was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction”

I asked Emma and they said they don't send notification. I had to ask where my case was she told me but my account is not updated! Many post here even said they don't get notified. This is interesting.
