How long after 485J receipt will I receive an update?
i received a 485J receipt notice dated 14 Oct. Bios done end of August. 485/131/765 submitted in June 2021 along with Medicals at the NBC. ROW applicant. I keep seeing that people are getting their greencards within 3-5 weeks from 485j receipt. Please comment if you have received 485j receipt and what happened after that!

I received my supplement j in late October and November 2 I received an rfe medical. hopefully will get my green card in the next 2 weeks if there are no complications.

Hi Mel m, I don’t think I-485J has anything to do with your interview or indicates that the green card will arrive soon, it is just confirmation of your bonafied job offer. I received one few days ago.

as per my observation it is taking 40 days approx to get gc approval after 485j letter. NBC doesn't even send ur case to local office.... they approve it directly if no complications
